A copy of your dog’s complete history is reviewed prior to your appointment.
We’ll ask how your dog has been at home, any trends you may have noticed, your main concerns and goals. Dogs will be allowed to become familiar and comfortable with the clinic environment during this discussion.
Your dog’s movement will be evaluated, noting changes from neutral with respect to several biomechnical markers. A full muscle, joint and connective tissue assessment follows and findings will be shared with you.
A treatment plan will be suggested in relation to your goals, diagnosis and findings; we build this plan with you and discuss expectations. If appropriate, treatments such as acupuncture or prescription exercises are started.
We welcome any video of your dog that you may want to share before your appointment. Please bring any favourite treats to help with practicing exercise examples.
A full report will be sent to your referring veterinarian, and uploaded to your online account.
